Stranger Than Fiction

A movie very well made. One of the best in terms of the flow, transition of plot, and film photography. Almost every scene was well thought after to the level that it could be framed and hang in a photography gallery. Even when you were not into the plot, you could still half-heatedly enjoy pieces of small talks.

I am not a big fan of Will Ferrel, but he plays an excellent show in this feature. Totally outshone Dustin Hoffman. IRS agent Harold Crick's digitalized life routine resonated loosely with lonely hearts. The encounter with Ana Pascal the baker turned out to be the savior of the body and soul, although not the life.

High School Students Bored, Considering Dropping Out

According to a survey of 81,000 high school students in the United States conducted by the Indian University, 75 percent felt the class were boring, while 22 percent considered dropping out of school. The study recommended more student teacher interactions to attract students' attention.

Chinese students, who fought to catch up with the materials may feel overwhelmed, but never bored. However, it's the educators attitude of ignoring solving the big problem, that's why US will fall. The educators and policy makers must realize that there's only so much an educator can do on a student. If the people does not feel the urge or need to learn, you can never teach them anything.
