Astronaut Dies


Charles Brady fatally shot himself after a quarrel with his fiancee in woods in his house in Orcas Island of Washington State on July 23, 2006.

Charles was born on August 12, 1951. He flew on STS-78 in 1996 and logged over 405 hours in space. STS-78 Columbia (June 20 to July 7, 1996) was the longest Space Shuttle mission to date.
