Jiang Zemin on Tai Mountain

Tai mountains have emerged as the symbol of ruling in Chinese culture. Since ancient time, as long as five thousand years ago, the emperor would go to Tai to claim their ruling to the higher up. Touring Tai was also seen as a statement of legitimacy of ruling over China.
